बहुजन नायक संत गाडगे बाबा का उस दिन 147वां जन्मदिन था, तारीख थी 23 फरवरी। देशभर में गाडगे बाबा की जिंदगी से सीख लेने की बातें हो रही थीं। ठीक उसी दिन, उत्तरप्रदेश में बरेली जिले की फरीदपुरी तहसील के गांव नवादा बिलसंडी में ऐसा हादसा हुआ कि जिसने सुना, वह दहल गया(Baba Gadge kept crying)

यह हादसा जिस अनुसूचित जाति के धोबी समाज के बीच हुआ, उसी समाज से निकले सूरज की तरह चमकने वाले सितारे थे बाबा गाडगे। यह बच्चियां किस समाज की हैं, यह शायद जिले और सूबे के हाकिमों को पता चल गया था, लेकिन न उस दिन, न ही अगले दिन, अखबारों, चैनलों या डिजिटल प्लेटफार्मों पर जाहिर नहीं हुई(Baba Gadge kept crying)

कथित मीडिया ने भी हादसे के दर्द को उतने ही पैमाने पर जाहिर किया, जितने से बात दूर तलक न चली जाए। सूचना की यह सुर्खियां जरूर रहीं कि सीएम और डिप्टी सीएम ने घटना की जानकारी ली है, स्थानीय विधायक ने भी जायजा लिया। कुल मिलाकर, अफसरों को भेजकर बेहिसाब गहरे जख्मों पर राहत का थोड़ा सा फाहा रखकर बात को रफा दफा कर दिया गया।

On the same day, such an accident took place in Nawada Bilsandi village of Faridpuri tehsil of Bareilly district in Uttar Pradesh that everyone who heard it was shocked.
